The lights go dark. The music pauses. A spotlight hits the stage. Tim Cook strides out. “Good morning! Good morning!” The Apple Logo hits the screen. The iPhone 12 event… Is.. on.

Any other year. Any other year. This is exactly what all of us would have been waiting all summer long for. But 2020… just *isn’t* any other year. 2020 is like, I don’t know… the Devlin Emmerich of years.
