As summer approaches the thought of a flood is never far from the minds of those who have seen their home damaged previously by floodwaters. In this episode I’m joined by flood plain management specialist Adam Berry to uncover why building on flood plains or flood-prone areas was permitted in the first place, what is flood plain management and why every flood is different.
