Macht zu verteilen und auszuüben ist alltägliche Praxis in Organisationen. Selbst in vermeintlich machtfreien Kontexten spielt Macht eine Rolle. Der Umgang mit Macht ist daher sozial betrachtet notwendig und sinnvoll. Woher kommt dann das Unbehagen, der schlechte Ruf der Macht? Eine Antwort darauf zeigt, was an Macht so heikel ist.
Wollen wir verstehen, was psychische Erkrankungen ausmacht und vor allem, was Betroffene brauchen, sollten wir aufhören, sie für schwieriger zu befinden, als sie sind. Schließlich sind psychische Erkrankungen gerade so kompliziert, wie wir sie machen. Das ist die Ansicht von Thomas Bock, der in diesem Audiobeitrag erklärt, wie nah psychische Erkrankungen an unser aller Erleben sind. Er ist Professor für Sozialpsychiatrie und klinische Psychologie und hat lange Zeit die Spezialambulanz für Psychosen und Bipolare Störungen an der Universitätsklinik Hamburg-Eppendorf geleitet. Außerdem lehrt er im Studiengang Interdisziplinäre Psychosentherapie, in dem es um die Behandlung von Menschen mit psychischen Erkrankungen geht, die häufig als "schwer" oder "komplex" gelten. Thomas Bock sagt: Komplex wird die Sache durch die Behandler:innen, nicht die Betroffenen.
Mit dem Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Aladin El-Mafaalani (Universität Osnabrück) feierten die Internationale Psychoanalytische Universität Berlin und das Hans Kilian und Lotte Köhler Centrum Bochum (KKC) am 28. Januar 2023 die Eröffnung des gemeinsamen Graduiertenkollegs „Traumata und kollektive Gewalt: Artikulation, Aushandlung und Anerkennung“.
