In this week's ‘Asking For A Friend' Linda got in touch with Aidan and Oonagh in the Morning with a dilemma she needed advice on.

Linda wrote: Hey Aidan and Oonagh

HELP – I fancy my dentist and I don't know if he's on the market or not.

He's an absolute lasher lads – I mean talk about getting over my fear of the dentist – most people have nightmares about sitting in the dentists chair – where as all my fantasies take place there lol.

Seriouly though – I've finished all my dental work and unless I pull a tooth loose, I have no reason to go back to him again.

I think he was kind of flirting with me – he asked what I liked to do in my spare time – why else would he ask that unless he was sussin me out.

I've tried to stalk him online to see if he has a girlfriend or not but his Facebook and Instagram are set to private – so annoying!!!

I'd gladly put the moves on him if I thought he was single.

How do I found out without looking like a stalker?

Thanks

Linda

As always, the iRadio family were at hand to offer their two cents!

Aidan and Oonagh in the Morning caught up with singer Becky Hill who chatted to the guys about the release of her brand new single ‘Heaven On My Mind’ in collaboration with Sigala.

‘Heaven On My Mind’, which is written by Becky Hill and produced by Sigala, is the second single to be lifted from Becky’s upcoming debut album release. It sees Becky reunite with Sigala, who she collaborated with last year on top 10 hit, ‘Wish You Well’, which is now certified Platinum after selling over 750,000 records in the UK alone.

Aidan and Oonagh in the Morning caught up with Danny O'Reilly to talk about the Coronas' latest single “Light Me Up“.  The single was co-written by True Tides frontman Cian McSweeney and  is a celebration of enduring love, through the good times and bad.

The single is taken from their album True Love Waits, which was released today. This album marks a new chapter for the band after guitarist Dave McPhillips left unexpectedly last year. Dave’s departure forced the remaining band members to reconsider their way of writing, and so they collaborated with other writers leading to changes in song structures and instrumentation. All this helped to push The Coronas out of their comfort zone and resulted in an album that the band are immensely proud of and excited to share with their fans.

To celebrate the launch of their album, the band have teamed up with their friends at Murphy’s Ice Cream. The Coronas will tour Ireland in a Super Sprinkles ice-cream van, signing copies of their album and giving free pots of Murphy’s most popular flavour, Dingle Sea Salt, to their fans; a perfect combination for a refreshing summer treat.

As Danny said, “When we realised that we weren’t going to be able to promote the album like before, we started thinking about different ideas to mark the launch. With no gigs, in-store signings or radio performances permitted, our manager had the idea that we get in an ice cream van and travel the country giving out free ice cream and selling the album! With everything that’s going on at the moment we thought it might add a tiny bit of positivity into the world and we can’t wait to get out and see some of our fans and friends around the country that we haven’t seen since before lockdown.”

The tour kicked off yesterday in Cork and the lads have a busy weekend of touring ahead. Today sees them hitting the Town Square in Mitchelstown in Cork, followed by stops in Limerick at famed music venue Dolan’s and finishing up this evening at Murphy’s Ice Cream on High Street in Galway.

Tomorrow,  Saturday 1st, they will start off at Murphy’s Ice Cream on Wicklow Street in Dublin then head to the Millpond in Dundrum Town Centre finishing that evening outside Starbucks in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre in conjunction with Golden Discs. The tour ends on Monday 3rd, first they will visit City Square Shopping Centre in Waterford again with Golden Discs and then take a trip out to Dunmore East.
