Two hundred and thirty-nine (239) schools sustained severe damage from Hurricane Melissa.

Providing the update in the Senate yesterday, Education Minister Senator Dr. Dana Morris Dixon said, in total, 679 public schools, and 21 tertiary institutions, were impacted.
