A senior official at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security in St. Elizabeth has raised concerns over the feasibility of rebuilding houses in Parottee near Black River, following the passage of Hurricane Melissa.

The Chinese medical ship which docked on the island's shores on December 4 has served more than 4,000 patients and is to depart the island's waters on Tuesday December 16. 

Health and Wellness Minister Dr. Christopher Tufton made the revelation during a press conference this morning.
