Global technology brand TCL has donated 100 43" televisions to support recovery efforts in communities across Jamaica that were most severely impacted by hurricane Melissa.

In a statement, TCL emphasized that the units were selected for their practical value in communal environments such as shelters, schools and community centres.

The commitment was given in a joint statement on the investigations, after three people were charged over the weekend. This followed coordinated operations at four locations in St. Andrew and St. James on Saturday morning.

Those charged are: founder of SSL Hugh Croskery, Sarah Meany and Zachary Harding, the former CEO of SSL.
