Sports Michiana is a digital sports broadcasting company based in South Bend, Indiana.

Several weeks ago, former Irish running back Jonas Gray tweeted about the impact Father Pete McCormick had on him in response to a great article from Pete Sampson in the Athletic on Fr. Pete.

It led me to reach out to Jonas to see if he would be interested in talking about his faith journey in our Focus on Faith interview.

Jonas said yes and I anticipated a very good interview considering his background.

The result was one of my favorite interviews in the eight year history of talking faith, family and football with Notre Dame figures of the past and present.

We hope you enjoy this conversation from the November 24, 2025 episode of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Football Fix.

2026 will mark a milestone year for one of South Bend's most famous restaurants and its owners. Next summer, Rocco's Pizza will celebrate 75 years in business while owners Linda & Warren Verteramo will celebrate 50 years of marriage.

A fixture just south of Notre Dame's campus, Rocco's is well known for its authentic, home-cooked Italian dishes and pizza.  The food is so good, everyone from Taylor Swift to Regis have stopped in during a visit to Notre Dame.

But more than that, Rocco’s makes you feel like family, because it is a family. Warren and Linda greet customers at the door and wind up knowing their customers’ kids and grandkids by name.

No one has covered more Notre Dame football games in person than Irish Illustrated's Tim Prister. The Boise State game earlier this year marked the 500th game Prister has covered in person spanning an incredible 44 years on the Notre Dame beat.

On the November 3rd, 2025 edition of Notre Dame Federal Credit Union's Irish Football Fix, host Angelo Di Carlo interviews Prister about his incredible accomplishment and career.

Tim reflects on his 'Notre Dame record', his favorite stadiums he's been to , road trips that have stood out and places he still hopes to get to before he retires.

At one point, Prister attended 394 straight Notre Dame games. That ended in 2017 when he had a heart attack while picking up his credential before a Notre Dame home game. Tim was in the right place at the right time and was brought back to life by Notre Dame fire that happened to be steps away from him when he went to the ground. Tim reflects on that life changing moment and how his faith has been strengthened having gone through that experience.

We wrap our interview talking about the 2025 Irish.
