  • Ifeoluwa Reads James 2-5
The book of James is the book of instructions to believers .
We should treat all men with respect not judging by outward appearance or circumstances. We should see people with the eyes of the spirit . Seeing them in light of the word of God .
Also we must be cautious of what we say . A wise man is known by the contents of his words .
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks .Therefore we should fill our hearts with the word of God

  • Olakunle Reads TIT 2-3: PHLM: HEB 1-3
    Day 352 Bible reading Summary
Summary on Bible Chapter Titus 2, 3, Philemon 1, Hebrew 1, 2, 3: Old disciples of Christ must behave in everything agreeably to the Christian doctrine, servant must know and do their duty to their earthly masters with a reference to their heavenly one.
The doctrine of grace and salvation by the gospel is for all ranks and conditions of Men.
It teaches to forsake sin; to have no more to do with it.
Eternal life is set before us in the promise; the spirit works faith in us and hope of that life; faith and hope brings it near and fill with Joy in expectation of it.
Faith in Christ and love to him should unite saints more closely than any outward relation can unite the people of the world.
Paul in his private prayers was particular in remembering his friends we must remember Christian friends much and often.
The Angels shall gather all the saints together at the last day, when all whose hearts and hopes are set upon perishing treasures and fading glories will be driven from Christ presence into everlasting misery.

  • Ifeoluwa Reads 1 Th 3-5; 2 Th 1-3
The more we find pleasure in the things of God the more we will persevere in every situation.
Paul's letter was to encourage the church at Thesalonica. He was not sugar coating the expectations in their walk of faith . They were encouraged to live responsibly and to love one another .
In the same vein we believers should be the light , there is a call for believers' integrity . We should never believe or teach others a fake doctrines.
These days we are besieged by the so called prosperity gospel . We must stand firm and live exemplary lives. The gratification of the flesh should never become the motivation of our worship of God.
