Pastor Andy Stanley recently preached a sermon, where he stated that his congregation needed to unhitched the OT from the NT. This is Marcionism, and is more prevalent in the church than we realize. It is important to note that he dialed back his comments later–here. But this was not the worst of it. He also claimed that the apostles did not get their standard for sexual ethics from the OT.
