Welcome to episode #275 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!

In this episode, we start off with some news that was delivered during the Major 3 broadcast regarding ranked play, which is that we will be getting a breakdown of how we gain/lose SR in ranked. Many people have wondered how they exactly calculate this per match, and this is a nice step in the right direction. Along with this, we shift towards some news regarding Sony and Xbox, as a potential console war may be upon us. As Sony is pulling back on letting their exclusives go to PC, Xbox lowered the price of game pass and seems to be making steps to regain their spot at the top. We talk about the pros and cons of a console war, and what it will mean for the future of gaming.  This then turns to a conversation about the future of stories in gaming, as we discuss a concerning article regarding stories in movies that we can already see happening in gaming, which is a drop in complexity and quality. Finally, we end with our review of Major 3, as well as the pros of the format used during the weekend.
