Welcome to episode #196 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we give our comprehensive review on the Black Ops 6 campaign. We finished it, and now we’ve got lots to unpack regarding story, characters, and mission types. We have some new ideas that have come to this game, as well as some returning ideas from last year’s CODs, however nearly all of these ideas have improved. This is a big step up from what we have had in the previous years, and we couldn’t be more excited to share all the pros with this campaign, and also offer our opinion on some of the “risks” that they took with this game. We also discuss the ending, and the potential set up for a sequel.
Have you played the campaign yet? If so, what did you think of the story and mission types overall? Do you start with the campaign and then play multiplayer, or do you skip the campaign altogether? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.

Welcome to episode #195 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we have gotten our first week of double xp, as well as the return of the much anticipated Nuketown! We have been on the grind during the weekend, and give our take on how we feel Nuketown fits into this title, and if it lives up to the hype or not. Along with this new map, some new maps are incoming to season 1, and the debate is stirring if these will be some maps to help the map pool, or be more of the same that many have complained about. We wrap up on some talks regarding SBMM, and other in game patches that are now live, and share how we think these will impact the game.
Did you hop in the Nuketown 24/7 playlist? Do you like Nuketown, or do you think it’s overrated? What do you think about our opinion on skill-based matchmaking? Do you notice it a lot in this game or is it not an issue for you? Finally, do you think the new maps are going to save the map pool, or will we have to wait until we get remasters to save us? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.

Welcome to episode #194 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we give our thoughts on the return to round based zombies in Black Ops 6. We have two new maps to unpack and share what our first impressions are of having played these maps after a long time away from classic zombies. With this return, there are some familiar concepts that have made a return, as well as some new improvements that have made it that much better. We give our thoughts on these changes, and if we feel they should be staples to COD going forward, and some things that many zombie players are yearning for to return. With two maps at launch, we let you know our favorite of the two, and talk about the journey to complete the easter eggs.
What do you think of the new zombie experience? Do you feel it does round based zombies justice, or does it not feel the same anymore? Which is your favorite of the two maps, and why? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.

The wait is finally over, as Black Ops 6 has officially launched! We have been playing nonstop since its release, and are beyond excited to share our experience with the game so far. We cover our first impressions on all aspects of the game. From the maps, to the guns and prestige, we give our opinion on what we think of the game overall from day one. Finally, we close with some tweaks we would like to see going forward, and share our excitement to start up the campaign and zombies mode.

Welcome to episode #191 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we come to our final talks on our hustle to the end of MWIII, as we prepare for our final review of MWIII for next week's episode! We also jump into some more developing CDL news as time goes on, and more teams options are now running low with big players locked down. We focus this episode on a topic relating to a law being passed regarding the understanding that we do not own digital properties related to gaming and entertainment. We debate the pros and cons of both, and what we think will be the way going forward. Along with this, a discussion has started about online games “expiring” due to servers being shut down, and if this is right, especially after spending $60 on a game. We cover both sides, and give our opinion on the matter.
What are your thoughts on the debate over digital vs. physical games? Do you exclusively buy one over the other, or no? Should there be no expiration date on a game that you purchased, or is it part of knowing that you don’t own the game? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week in our final MWIII review.

In this episode, we share our woes and struggles with closing out season 6 and MWIII altogether. We are in the final stretch of hitting the max level, and giving ourselves some much needed time to relax before starting up Black Ops 6. We are preparing for our end of year review with MWIII, and will have much to say regarding gameplay, maps, and overall fatigue. We share some thoughts as we come to the end of the game, and also some ideas that hopefully Treyarch uses to help reward those who make it to the end, as we share our annoyances with the lack of rewards for the long grind. We close with some CDL talk, as some big rumors have been confirmed, leaving big questions for the bottom teams. We share our opinions on these confirmed moves, and our predictions for other teams.
Do you agree that there aren’t enough awards and incentives to grind to the end of COD in recent years? What do you think should be given as a reward for hitting max level? What do you think about the confirmed and rumored CDL rosters? Are there any that are sleeper teams? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.

In this episode, we have concluded our time with the Black Ops 6 beta, and are back on MWIII, as season 5 draws to a close and we are in the final season of the game. We haven’t given up on the game, and intend to hit the 1250 max level to put a stamp of finality on MWIII before our end game review. With season 6, there are lots of exciting collabs to look forward to, and also some questionable map “additions” for the Halloween theme this season is based around. We cover each part of the season 6 roadmap, and compare how it stacks up to previous seasons. Finally, we end with some updates regarding the CDL, with some potential big shake ups that could happen if the rumors prove true.

Welcome to episode #187 of The COD Casuals, where we discuss all things Call of Duty, casual and professional!
In this episode, we discuss our experience with the open beta, a full week after our first impressions from the early access beta. We get to see some new additions with a new level cap with more to unlock, new maps, modes, and some tweaks made along the way. We compare from what we played during week 1, and share what we think are the biggest takeaways from it. We go over some important changes we think may impact the future of the game and potentially the CDL, as well as some parts of the game we wonder what the future will look like. We got a glimpse at the new face off and gunfight modes, and how these may be where the future of the casual fanbase will gravitate towards, as some say this is what Call of Duty is moving towards; quick games on small maps for high xp. We discuss this point and if we think COD is moving this way.
What were your thoughts on the 2nd week of the beta? If you did not play the first week, give us your first impressions on the game! What do you think of the new face off and gunfight modes/maps? What do you think about the take discussed on the future of the casual fanbase in COD? Do you think it is moving in this direction or not? Please let us know as we discuss this and much more! Hope you all enjoy the episode and we'll see you next week.
