In this episode, we break down what was a very successful beta week with Black Ops 7. With the early access and open beta now concluded, we give our thoughts on the main aspects of the game that will make or break this year. From the map design, new game mode, zombies, and more, we give our opinions on each part of the game and what we think of the beta overall. With Battlefield now launching, Black Ops 7 is being directly compared to their competitor, and we wonder if it will really hurt how people view this game versus how it actually is. In this beta, the main takeaway was the changes made during the beta, as well as the implementation of the open moshpit, which has completely changed people’s opinion on pubs, as we may have finally returned to what has made COD great for over a decade.

We share our day 1 experiences on the game, and give our initial thoughts on what we have so far. There is a lot to be excited about, and also some concerns. In this episode, we have finally gotten the long awaited multiplayer reveal trailer for Black Ops 7! With the early access beta around the corner, and the game coming quickly, we break down what we know so far from the reveal trailer, and give our first impressions. We cover the movement, weapons, maps, perks, and killstreaks that were shown, and if we think these will lead to a successful year. We also got a zombies reveal trailer to break down, and things are looking good for the zombies community this year! Finally, we end with the final two teams in the CDL confirming their rosters, as well as the rebrand of Atlanta FaZe to FaZe Vegas. With the top 4 teams solidified, we now wait to see the rest of the CDL fall into place with the remaining players and teams.

In this episode, we cover some new Black Ops 7 news, as we finally got a sneak peek at some of the multiplayer maps. We got some small gameplay footage, but it is more than enough to get us excited for this incoming beta. We talk about the maps we have seen so far, and overall the path forward with balancing new maps with remasters, and how many maps this game needs to keep it fresh and not die out like the CODs before it. Along with this, there have been some other confirmations related to the movement, as well as redesigning the Vault Edition for the game. We share our thoughts on these, and our hope that this is all to help capture the vision that Treyarch has for this game. Finally, we close with some big confirmations in the CDL regarding new teams, and the struggles of some at the bottom.

In this episode, we start off with a talk regarding streamers; particularly the massive IRL streamers such as iShowSpeed and Kai Cenat. Though we don’t talk about these creators much, we have a talk about how important they have been to the gaming and creator space, and our thoughts as to what their futures look like beyond streaming. After this, we get into the main topic for today: Call of Duty is officially becoming a movie. The news broke a few weeks ago that Paramount would be in charge of creating a Call of Duty movie. There isn’t much information beyond this, and we give our thoughts on why they are deciding to do this, and what we think about the idea as a whole. Lots of questions are circling around this announcement, and fans are eager to learn more.

In this episode, we finally cover this year’s rostermania situation, which looks to have finally settled down. Since the end of the season, rumors quickly floated around about big teams breaking up and totally changing the landscape for the CDL next year. These rumors have for the most part been confirmed to be true, and some are going to have a major impact on what we will be watching next year. We cover the big moves from the biggest teams; FaZe and Thieves, and in our opinion, the dark horses of next season, Gentlemates and Falcons. We give our opinions on these roster moves, and who we think will come out on top for Black Ops 7. Finally, we end with a discussion about the rest of the CDL, and who is exactly going to be making up those teams, as there are little to no confirmations about the bottom 6 teams.

In this episode, we start off with some news regarding Battlefield 6. By now we have had two beta periods, and the game has gotten great reviews so far. We share our opinions on this success, and discuss if COD should be worried or taking notes at the very least. With Black Ops 7 on the horizon, and the news about returning maps and concepts from older COD titles, we wonder if Call of Duty would’ve been better off as a single title, much like CS or R6. There have been many pros and cons to what they’ve done with a new title every year, and we share our thoughts on what has worked and failed. We finally end with a talk on being too busy to game, and how we’ve realized this as we become older and trying to balance life and gaming.
