In 2001, the UN convened a world conference on racism in Durban, South Africa.  It was quickly hijacked and became an international forum to call out Israel and only Israel, propagate the idea that Israel is an apartheid state, and a foundation of the BDS movement to delegitimize Israel’s existence.  Next week, the UN will convene a 20th anniversary event at which Israel will continue to be blamed to the exception of actually combatting racism. What’s behind this and why are allegations not only not true, but deeply offensive?
