Kris and Madge do. They also know a terrible movie when they see one and let us tell you, folks: this is a terrible movie. There's barely a single redeeming thing in it so listen to this but probably don't watch it.

They were going to build a franchise off this? Really? It's a stretch, sure, but they really were looking to do it. I think they saw Baldwin's chest merkin in the editing room and decided that it was never going to fail but I have no proof of this.

Also!

The Shadow did not start out as a comic book character but you will never guess in a million years where he did make his debut! Unless you go look it up on the internet which is very clever of you (we're all impressed) but you could have just listened to Part 2 of this episode and found out the easy way.

Gordon's Alive!

What a movie this is! It's either a two star or a six star and that rating changes from scene to scene. There are parts of this movie that are so dumb that they have to be seen to be believed. There are also parts of it that are great. You also can't believe how good it looks. It's totally unique in modern-ish movies. Please go and just look at the sets.

Plus!

Was there meant to be a sequel? Was it meant to be directed by an arty Italian type? How does Enter the Dragon play into all this? You will have to go look all of that up yourself won't you. Or just listen. It's easier and more fun if you listen, to be honest.

Also!

Is Star Wars just a big rip off from professional idea thief, George Lucas? Yes. Yes it absolutely is that. Just go back and look at Flash Gordon comics from the 1930s and 40s and see with your own eyes that even the metal bikini is a different perverted man's idea. I'm starting to wonder if Jar Jar Binks is just an ugly Lizardman.

It's Superman Returns!

And returned he has. Wow, this was a good movie. We were genuinely surprised by this. I (Kris) had been telling Madge since Superman I that this was a bit of a shocker but the only shocking that took place was to us by how good it was. I (Kris again) make the startling claim that this is the best Superman movie that's ever made. Don't agree? Well then, you'll just have to contact us via one of the links below and share your opinion you little know it all.

Why wasn't there a sequel to this movie? Was there ever meant to be a Superman V? Why the hell are there pictures of Nicolas Cage cosplaying Superman when I type 'sexy' into google? It's Superman IV!

Here we are again and this time we bring you Christopher Reeve's last outing as the Man of Steel: Superman IV. It's a crying shame that this is the end of the line for the man that is so excellent in this role that he's become iconic. The sad part is, you can see him really trying and fighting against the dying light that was this once proud series. God bless the man and everything he was - a planetary treasure.

Did the United Nations relocate to Milton Keynes? Was the Kent's Farm in Hereford all along? Did Cannon Films go super cheap on all of the sets and location shoots? All yes.

Also!

We learn how Superman was ripped off to create Captain Marvel and then Superman plagiarised Captain Marvel and sued him out of existence. This is a roundabout way of saying that there were some legal shenanigans. We also cover the very sad tale of the great Otto Binder - a man who deserved a far better fate than the one that befell him.

It's Supergirl!

We're so happy to be back. Thanks for listening to the Upology. Most of that is still happening but we got it together to bring you Supergirl! Supergirl is a movie that someone made and everyone is trying their best in which should be commended.

It's Superman II - both versions!

One of these cuts is an excellent movie, the other is so poor that it should be buried like the Arc of the Covenant and never viewed by human eyes again.

It's part two of the tale of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and how Superman was taken from them. There's tragedy, their betrayal and there's a letter written to put a curse on the Superman movie. Really.

Christopher Reeve completed Superman in the late 70s/early 80s and nobody else should even try. Honestly, Dean Cain aside, there's never been a better Superman on screen. We go into a number of reasons why and are sure you'll agree.

The villain, turned scientist, turned alien changed the world but the two lovely lads who created him weren't exactly lucky when shopping the Man of Steel around to comic book companies in the thirties.
