This week, for a change, Rosen is the one on fire, until Goldbrener puts him in his place; not by being huge, however. Meanwhile, crucial topics like killer mohels, drunk raccoons, afro-mohawk things, a certain kind of Israeli and codified numbering schemes get a good going over.

Rosen shows up unprepared, with no belt and odd shoes, leading the boys into a conversation that touches on ipods, why Eric doesn't listen and just wouldn't care (while wearing a fanny pack but never, ever shorts), first world problems, Doc Martens and whether assimilation is "the death of the Jews' or not such a big deal.

There's no avoiding the elephant in the room this week, so the boys ask what, if anything, Israel can do (hint: the answer is "nothing") to make the rest of the world happy. Before settling in, though, they discuss what lightning bolts can do to your golf game, what to do when homeless guys battle, headaches and what would happen if you flew and American flag from your San Francisco home.

As usual, Eric schools Larry on the realities of the Middle East, but not before the boys discuss dogs of average intelligence, what life would be like without the 280 freeway and the similarities between Eric and chef Anthony Bourdain. Also, Larry provides a raccoon update.

Goldbrener and Rosen thank their sole listener, discuss swapping out one Jew for a non-Jew, consider the benefits of pedestrian-friendly delicatessens and question whether the concept of a "Jewish neighborhood" is or is not good for the Jews.
