Welcome to another installment of Harry Potter Theory. Today I’ve got a bunch of news stories that I want to cover which are centered around the upcoming HBO show.

I know there’s been a lot of news-style videos lately, but I’ll aim to space these out more going forward — I don’t want to stray too far from the core focus of this channel: the lore. Let me know if you think this is the right call.

Anyway, it’s no secret that the upcoming series has sparked a lot of conversation — not just about casting or storylines, but also about J.K. Rowling’s involvement. Today, we’re going to take a closer look at what Rowling’s role actually is in the new series (including addressing some rumors around her allegedly SUING HBO), how HBO and Warner Bros. are handling the production, and what this all means for the future of the Wizarding World.
