The Book of Clarence is a movie with Jesus that isn’t really about Jesus. As such, it takes a good deal of creative license with the biblical story. But does that make it blasphemy? And does a story have to be about Jesus to help us know him better? Let’s take a look at what the film teaches about Jesus—and us.
