• Meta Platforms (META) - A report from late Thursday suggested Meta is developing a decentralized text-based social network. The story had the subhead "Is this the Twitter replacement we've been waiting for?"
• Charles Schwab (SCHW) - The stock fell nearly 13% Thursday following, according to analyst at Morgan Stanley, a $600 million block sale and "cash sorting/deposit withdrawal concerns..." The analysts called the move in shares "overdone" and maintained the equivalent of a buy rating on Schwab.
• XPeng (XPEV) - This China-based manufacturer of electric vehicles will report quarterly results on Friday of next week.
• Amdocs (DOX) - A way to gain exposure to the generative artificial intelligence (AI) trend. Analysts at Oppenheimer said companies with "niche data sets" like Amdocs, Verint (VRNT) and NICE Systems (NICE) could take advantage of the generative AI theme.
• Hut 8 Mining (HUT) - A play on cryptocurrency mining. News on Friday showed a regulator cleared the company's merger deal with USBTC. In Benzinga Pro's lounge chat, one trader said they were "taking a lotto" trade on Hut 8 Mining at current levels.
