Does it give meaning to your life

Your trending awesomeness

Is it the likes, the retweets or mentions

That lift you on a pedestal

To elevate your emotion

That’s make you happy

But really you’re just empty

Is being happy searching for validation

In a new generation of interactions

Chatting, snap chatting

Gathering momentum virtually

But you struggling personally

Is that giving your life meaning

Or are you another mannequin in the making?

Putting on a smile, creating a facade

So ask yourself this question

Is happiness the same as meaningfulness

If you were to give up all things material

Would your life still have meaning

Standing under a clear sky
