Aussie Mindset Mentor

Is your strength your weakness?

Listen Later

Selina Iddon introduces the concept of compensating for old injuries, both physical and metaphorical, and questions the long-term impact of such compensation. She guides listeners in recognizing and addressing compensatory behaviors in various aspects of life. Emphasizing the importance of balance and strength, Selina provides insights into achieving a more harmonious existence. The episode closes with reflections on the journey towards balance and resilience.

It is normal for our body to physically compensate for injuries we may have, however at what stage do we look at our healed injury and declare it no longer needing me to nurse it.  For me it was more than 30 years in one case, it had become habit.  This can also apply to emotional injuries.
The long term of this is being less and less balanced as our stronger healthy limbs take possibly an unnecessary load.
Any time is a great time to do a check in on living a balanced life in all areas do you agree?
