This week I sat down with my friend and Tristan’s (my wonderful weiner dog) trainer, Alix, CEO of Alix and the Pack.

We’re both running our own businesses and we both LOVE it! My online business has made my wildest dreams become reality and I am thankful for it every single day.

I mean, no longer answering to anyone? Being in charge and making my own schedule and rules? And making fantastic money while also making a positive impact in the world? It is incredible.

But… it’s not all fun and games, is it? There are some very unsexy sides to business and I see most conversations arounds these topics just scratching the surface.

I have two questions for you today:

1. Are you struggling to get applications and land clients?

You might think the order is product first, client second, but that is WRONG.

Focusing on what product you want to sell is the worst way to get leads to see the value and get clients consistently!

What really matters is focusing on the person you’re selling to. NOT the product you want to pitch.

When you think about the client you want to work with, and the core problem and result they’ll have, your marketing strategy will come easily. And most importantly? It will actually work for you.
