Come in for five minutes, let’s open God’s Word together, and let’s pray. The pace of the day is beginning to slow, yet our minds often continue racing long after our work is finished. Conversations replay, tomorrow’s responsibilities appear and unanswered questions can quietly compete for our attention. Before this evening moves on, let’s pause together and allow God’s presence to settle our hearts with His perfect peace.  Isaiah 26:3 (NIV) “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” What a beautiful promise to receive this evening. God’s peace is not dependent upon a trouble-free life. His peace grows as we turn our hearts and minds towards Him. Tonight, let’s gently remind ourselves that fear will not win, because Jesus Christ is our perfect peace, our faithful Shepherd and our unchanging hope through every season. Father, thank You for bringing us safely through another day. Thank You for every moment of grace, every quiet answer to prayer and every reminder that You have remained close beside us. Lord Jesus, receive every burden that still rests upon our hearts. Bring healing to those who are unwell, comfort to those who feel lonely, wisdom to those facing important decisions and peace to every mind that struggles to become still. Help us to release today’s concerns into Your loving hands and trust You with everything that tomorrow may bring. Holy Spirit, calm every anxious thought, strengthen our faith and help us finish this day resting in the certainty of Christ’s unfailing love. Across the world, from Adelaide to Queenstown, from Singapore to Phoenix and Montevideo, may every listener discover the deep and lasting peace that is found in Jesus Christ alone.
