Isaiah Austin might have the most interesting journey to being a professional athlete in all of sports. A 7-footer with handles like a guard, the Baylor star still made his dream a reality despite playing blind in one eye and being diagnosed with Marfan’s Syndrome days before he was about to be selected as a lottery pick in the NBA.

After five years overseas, Isaiah put away his passport for now and joined the BIG3 in 2021. The No. 1 overall pick is no longer a “what-if” player but instead a special talent and person we get to see every summer. 

We get into his journey to the league, reminisce on draft night, playing alongside Gilbert Arenas and Swaggy P, being named one of the first ever All-Stars and his career development in the NBA.
