Back in January #ISGPod co-host Adrian Logue caused a bit of a stir wth his list of the top 50 GCA Twitter influencers. In fact it sparked so much discussion we decided to record another episode of the pod with an update and here it is. In Ep 115 Adrian explains some of his methodology and bias as well as a broader discussion about how the architecture discussion seems to be growing.

Hannah Green's outstanding victory at the Women's PGA Championship at the weekend only highlighted further the parlous state of public golf - and more particularly its courses - in Australia. With the spotlight shining firmly on the game we explore the connection between exposure to golf and access to it, particularly in light of the recent decision by Brisbane City Council to close the Vic Park golf course. Golf Queensland Board Member Matthew Toomey joins us with some of the inside info and stats about the state of the game in Australia and what follows is a broad and thought provoking discussion.
After a couple of days to reflect on the result John Huggan and Bruce Young join episode 113 to analyse happenings at the 119th US Open. From the enigma that is Rory to the possibility Adam Scott has found a bit of 'mongrel' ahead of next month's Open its a US Open review with a difference.
Special Guest: John Huggan.
Everyone will be talking Pebble Beach and the US Open this week and that's as it should be. But if you feel like a bit of a break from that, jump in here as we talk to Dr Kelly Price about the LPGA's latest marketing campaign, Hank Haney's controversial comments about the US Women's Open and how women's golf continues to fight for the attention it deserves.

Golf course architecture and its role in the game is a familiar topic for even casual listeners to the #ISGPod but on Episode 111 we go all in on the subject when Derek Duncan, host of the highly regarded GCA Podcast Feed The Ball, joins us. Among the discussion points: why the women's professional game might be better and more interesting to watch than the men's; is GCA starting to cut through among younger, mainstream golfers?; are we making progress in balancing gender inequity issues? All that plus plenty more when Derek Duncan joins us on the iSeekGolf podcast.

It's been six years of hard work and disruption and the process has not been without controversy but the new look Peninsula Kingswood Golf Club is officially open for business. We catch up with CEO Heath Wilson for some insight into what the merger might mean for the game more broadly, where the North and South Course are likely to rank among Australia's best and why the club is keen to host a big time professional tournament in the near future.
Special Guest: Heath Wilson.
His golf over the last two years has been other worldly but for some reason Brooks Koepka doesn't seem to connect with golf fans like stars from other generations. On Ep 109 Bruce Young, Adrian Logue and Rod Morri explore why that might be as well as chat about the Bethpage Black course, the New York crowds and the US Senior Women's Open at Pine Needles.

There's never been a time when the golf consumer had access to more content. Between podcasts, blogs, websites, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and more, there's almost no end to stories about every facet of the game. But is the game better for it or is most of it really the same content just dressed a little differently? That was the question The Golf News Net founder Ryan Ballangee posed on Twitter last week and we liked it so much we got him on the show to expand on it.

Even people who have visited Barnbougle Dunes in Tasmania often don't realise there is small band of regular caddies available to guide guests around the facility's two courses. On a recent trip to the island state, the ISG Pod caught up with one of these intrepid bag men to find out what life is like with two world top 50 courses as your office.
Special Guest: Mick Lambert.
Brett Hochstein is an American design-build architect very much in the modern mould and has worked on projects in both Europe and the US. Brett is a self confessed golf nerd and he proved it with a recent blog post on bunkers which weighs in just shy of 2000 words. Yes, 1,970 words devoted exclusively to the look and placement of sand on a golf course.
