Menstrual cycles & fiqh can be a pretty complex topic for alot of women for various of reasons. Between understanding fiqh correctly, dealing with taboos or even cultural norms, or simply not being educated on this as a whole.. the topic of periods & fiqh is a pretty important one...leading us to this week's episode, which is a collab with Eamaan Rabbat from Rabata.

Eamaan Rabbat was raised in the United States and in Syria, where she benefited from renowned female teachers of the Islamic sciences, including tajwid, sirah, hadith, fiqh, and aqīdah. After moving to the United Arab Emirates, she earned her Bachelor’s in Mass Communications with concentrations in Advertising and Journalism and later earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration.Since graduating university, she has dedicated her time to the education and upbringing of children and adults. She has held various positions in educational institutions and schools, and volunteered at various educational centers. She has been honored to serve as director of the Ribaat Academic Institute since its inception in Fall 2013 and presently serves as Rabata’s Education Director. She teaches fiqh and Quran at the Ribaat Academic Institute, which is an online program the offers Islamic learning to Muslim women around the world. She also fiqh and other fun topics at Rabateens, an online program for Muslim teen girls.

balancing your priorities in this world & your hereafter can become overwhelming sometimes. often in stages like this, it becomes nearly impossible to do anything because there is so much to do at once. this episode talks about how to deal with an overwhelmingly busy schedule while making time for yourself. ☆Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever absorbs his heart in love of the world will be entangled by three things: misery that will not cease to discomfort him, greed that will not achieve his independence, and vain hopes that will never reach their end. For the world is seeking and is sought. Whoever seeks the world, the Hereafter will pursue him until death comes to him and it seizes him. Whoever seeks the Hereafter, the world will pursue him until he exhausts his provision from it.”

And My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more loved to Me than the religious duties I have obligated upon him. And My servant continues to draw near to me with nafil (supererogatory) deeds until I Love him. When I Love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, and his sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him; and were he to seek refuge with Me, I would surely grant him refuge (Hadith 38, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi)
