Island Hopping

Let's pretend for a moment that you're God.  Your creation has a problem - sin.  And this problem is separating you from your creation.  How would you fix the problem?  How would you create a pathway to a right relationship between you and your creation?  Oh, and don't forget that your answer can't rob your creation of the gift of free will.  Whatever solution you come up with must be experienced individually, through choice.

God doesn't want you to do your salvation.  God wants you to be saved.  This requires you to make a choice.  For if there's no choice, there's no power.

Welcome to a new Island - I make the choice to commit my life to the care and control of Jesus.  God is in the business of transforming your want to.  The question for you, at this point, is if you want to have your want to transformed.

Until you get real with God, God will never be real to you.  And one essential part of being real is being able to live in the "I don't know".

Are you willing to be in a relationship with God, simply to be in a relationship with God?  Or do you have some other purpose for your relationship with God?  Here's a little hint:  God is in relationship with you, simply to be in relationship with you!

Do you claim God?  Do you believe there's a God and that you matter to God?  You're invited to move from understanding to claiming.

It's vital that you answer these two questions:  Who is God to you?  Where did you learn that about God?  For your faith needs to be your faith.

Do you believe that you matter to God?  Or do you only believe that you only matter to God when you're doing everything right?  Your relationship with God will directly impact your relationships with others.  Conversely, your relationships with others is simply an outward sign of the inward reality of your relationship with God.

Is your God an architect or a shepherd?  Well, ask yourself this question: To which version of God do I matter?
