On February 9, 2025, Islington United continued a series on awakening our senses. This week, Brianna Coutlee and Adele Halliday led us in worship. We reflected on awakening our senses to touch - especially touching others through offering the gift of forgiveness.

On February 2, 2025, Islington United continued a series on awakening our senses. This week, James Aitchison connected us to our sense of hearing and invited us to consider how silence also plays a role in our spiritual lives.

On January 26, 2025, Islington United began a series on awakening our senses. This week, Rev. Maya reminded us how our sight allows us to better connect with the world and others and that we are all a unique and needed part of the body of Christ.

On January 19, 2025, Ministry Student Adele Halliday shared what communion is about by reflecting on the words from Paul in Corinthians.

On January 12, 2025, Islington United celebrated two baptims together. We reflected on the scripture of Jesus' baptism and what baptism means.

On December 29, 2024, had a time of remembering other stories from the Christmas season. We reflected on carols and scriptures that bring hope, peace, joy, and love to our Christmas celebrations.

On December 22, 2024, we remembered Joseph's role in this incredible story. We hear his story in scripture and through a dramatic reading called "With Deep Regret: A Letter to Mary" written by David Giuliano.

As we approach the longest night of the year, we remember that not everyone feels joy during this season. We hold space though this season for those who are facing hardship or remember loved ones. May these words from our Blue Christmas service provide comfort and peace.

Sunday, December 8, was the second Sunday of Advent. This week, we were invited to find people in our lives to make peace with during this season.
