  • Jason Finch
    Jason Finch is a photojournalist who got his start at the American Red Cross in Washington DC. Originally shooting sports photography, Jason came to the Red Cross with an MBA and as a social media manager.  This is where Jason learned to photograph people and tell the story of how the Red Cross helps people in their time of need. Jason's favorite part of photography are the people, and the unpredictability of the moment. 
    Jason has an amazing ability to capture those between moments, encapsulate memories and candid moments in tangible form. After leaving the American Red Cross, Jason went on to pursue an MSW at Dominican University. It was there where he learned that he loved capturing the human emotion and telling people's stories. It all clicked when Jason photographed his first wedding for friends in 2010.

He also serves as the Activities Director, and Blended Learning Coordinator serving professional development to teachers and home mentors in the areas of technology and educational best practices.  Josh has 17 years of teaching experience as a certified Math Teacher while holding a masters degree in School Counseling. In addition, Josh is a certified “Jack Canfield Success Coach” and an entrepreneurial Emcee/Disc Jockey of 28 years during his weekends. In his spare time you can find Josh tutoring math to struggling students as well as hosting school wide motivational speaking events throughout Wisconsin school districts providing opportunities for student achievement, growth and development. He and his wife are the parents of two school-aged children. Josh brings a unique perspective of motivation and achievement through his professional expertise, and his own experience gained from being a parent and life long learner.

     Although my desire to play in the dirt started a young age.  I, Sylvia Green, have over 17 years of professional experience in green (horticulture) industry including floral designer of 5 years. I didn’t always LOVE pulling weeds in the gardens and attending to our small farm animals, but I now look back and appreciate growing up on a game farm out in the country. Because of this, I was able to experience and learn things most kids nowadays don’t always get the chance to. I enjoyed gardening and was able to showcase what I grew and the animals I raised during my 13 years of involvement in our local 4H club. I take pride in what I do and am pleased to offer you the things I am now growing and designing with today.
     
    On June 6th, 2014, my future husband and I walked through our yard, pruners in hand to pick the flowers we wanted for our wedding. As we cut, striped and put stems in the buckets, I realized how blessed we were to have this opportunity. Not only were we getting the freshest flowers possible for our special day, but we shared this magical experience together. How many brides can say they hand chose each stem that went into their bouquets? From that day forward, I married my best friend and dreamed of being able to offer the same experience to other couples. Now almost two years later, Green’s Flower Farm, LLC was created and will be offering the same great experience we had.
