Its proxies and allies in the region such as Hamas (Gaza), Hezbollah (Lebanon) and the Shi'a paramilitary groups and militias operating in Iraq under the umbrella of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) such as the Badr Organization, Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, and Hezbollah Brigades, are far from defeated.

This week Israeli and US air forces continued to pummel targets across Iran. The Israel Defense Forces have neutralized well over 70% of Iran's ballistic missile stockpile and launchers, while maintaining a 92% interception rate against more than 400 missiles fired at the Israeli home front since the war began, according to military figures. The conflict between Iran and Israel is a struggle of all ages. In biblical times, Iran was referred to as Elam, about which many Scriptures speak. This prompts us to ask the question: What does the Bible say about Iran and Israel? Can you draw a parallel between the history of Israel and Iran and thus compare the Bible with current events?

As Christians, we have the privilege and ability to “discern the signs of the times”. One of these signs is, perhaps, the growing role of political Islam in turning nations against Israel and the West. This is not to advocate war. It is simply to recognize the reality of what is happening, and what is at stake.
