Israel's Defence Minister Israel Katz has confirmed that Iran's top security chief Ali Larijani has been killed in strikes.

Larijani served as secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council and was one of the council's two representatives of the late supreme leader, Ali Khamenei.

Iran hasn't confirmed his death.
