Once again, Hezbollah spied on Israeli military bases and intelligence sites in northern Israel and released the footage to spread fear in the Israeli public. Israel took out a Hezbollah operative outside of Damascus who was a former bodyguard to Hezbollah leader, Hassan Nasrallah. Using this as an excuse, Hezbollah fired a barrage of 40 rockets at the Golan Heights, killing two Israeli civilians.
