About: Issa Kickback is a podcast by two young black men who will be sharing their point of view on music, current topics in the world, sports, and events locally as well. Out of Quincy, Illinois, Marcellus & James have always been avid listeners and paid attention to things beyond the headline. On a normal night of hanging out they always found themselves outside of the group of friends or the main event speaking on topics you normally wouldn't hear at a get together. For us this is a kickback, for you this is a chance to hear about a different perspective you might not hear in your predominately white community. Here is a deep dive to what you might be missing! Episode 3 - Connecting the Vibe In this episode we start out light, speaking on the music that we've been playing recently and that we've had in rotation for a while. During this we speak on why, and how they relate to us and why we think they connect so well to us. Though this was pre-recorded, we speak on the finals and who will take home the MVP as well as we speak overall on Hall of Fame predictions and what we can expect from Zion. Lastly, we cover Fatherhood and how it has helped us grow and some of the challenges.
