(00:00-59:14) On today’s John Kincade Show, John and Bob are back.  Connor is in for Pat on the board.  John opens talking about the Phillies win over the Padres last night.  The Phillies got out to a big lead, but the bullpen let the Padres get too close.  Five arms were used out of the bullpen.  Going into the postseason, the Phillies will need longer outings from the starters, so the bullpen isn’t so taxed. Bob and Conner give their thoughts before John talks Eagles football.  The season is finally here.  John talks about the Eagles starting on the road all three years under Nick Sirianni.  The guys react to what Rachel Nichols said about James Harden and whether he will show up.

(59:27-1:46:15) John talks about the Eagles week one opponent, the Patriots and how they aren’t the same team as they once were.  They don’t scare you like they used to.  In Cooney’s Column, Bob talks about the inconsistency of the Phillies, the crazy season Kyle Schwarber is having and how great the offense has been as of late. The guys get into a semi-heated discussion about the Phillies and how successful they can be in the playoffs.  John introduces a new segment.  It is a question of the day.  Connor wants everyone to take a deep breath when it comes to the Phillies pitching.  He shares some interesting numbers.

(1:46:28-2:35:05) The show needs to seat their jury for this upcoming season.  John, Bob and Connor make their cases for who they think should be on the jury. The guys talk about what it took for the Phillies to get into the playoffs last year.  Without a collapse by the Milwaukee Brewers, we might not be singing “Dancing On My Own” late into October.  In Cooney’s Corner, Bob talks about the career years by multiple Eagles last year.  Should we be worried it won’t be replicated?

(2:35:19-3:07:22) In Cooney’s Corner Bob talks about Christian Pache and Johan Rojas.  What will Rob Thomson do with them during the playoffs.  Who will play and when? Connor talks about the Eagles schedule and the fact that we will have the chance to watch more teams during the early slate because the Eagles have so many late games.  The guys end the show talking about the Phillies pitching staff.
