Health, Diet and the Food Industry
In this series, Josh and Jon consider obesity rates around the globe, as well as here at home. They also look at the statistics on obesity related illnesses such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer and what countries are most affected. There is much to be said about the American Diet and all of its shortcomings, but is it a fight that can be waged alone, or should the hand of government be involved? What would it look like if the government were to require change within food processors marketing, delivery and ingredients? Are there example of times when they did get involved? We'll look at all of this and more in this week's episode of It Might Be Interesting's take on Health, Diet and the Food Industry.
