Today Thursday the 17th of November sees us drink a cup of tea whilst we are podcasting.

Today is November 16th and we are back from Edinburgh (catch S1E10 to get know more about Auld Reekie)

We were enjoying breakfast when we met someone, can you guess who?

It was a dreich Edinburgh but we got what we needed to do done.

Today is Monday the 14th November and tomorrow we will be going to Edinburgh (the capital city of Scotland and where I grew up).

Some of you might realise that Edinburgh Castle is on the podcast thumbnail, and the city of Edinburgh is affectionately known as Auld Reekie.

Which in Scots means Old Smokey.

The name came from the 16th and 17th century when the old town was enclosed by city walls and the buildings pumped out smoke through the chimneys that hung round like fog!

We hear of the Auld Reekie poem written by Robert Fergusson in the 1700s and what became of him.

Matilda along with several of her pensioner pals were playing bingo in Buckie, and went on a four hour trip by bus!
