He chairs the Hillsborough Metropolitan Planning Organization’s Intelligent Transportation Systems Committee. Vik currently leads Tampa’s Smart Cities Program. He has been instrumental in program development, design, and deployment of Advanced Traffic Management Systems for most of the municipalities in the Tampa Bay region. He is a key member of the Tampa Connected Vehicle Pilot team, the Marion Transit Way Autonomous Shuttle Service project, and the Smart Lighting project.
