Mayfest, Cornell's international chamber music festival, runs all weekend, with concerts at Barnes Hall on Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday evenings, at Moakley House on Sunday afternoon, and Sage Chapel on Monday evening.

Also tonight the Sim Redmond Band is playing South Hill Cider, the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts has a Dance Recital Showcase, and the Living Room and the 86ers are playing the Range.

Tomorrow there's a day-long community yard sale throughout the Village of Trumansburg, starting at 8am.

The Rootstock youth music celebration and Youth Entrepreneurship Market together tomorrow on the Ithaca Commons, with live music at the Bernie Milton Pavilion starting at noon.

There's a punk rock happy hour show at 4 Saturday at Deep Dive featuring Secret Service Men, Teen Cat and Assemble (from Philly), and BBQ from Fittnell Farms. Donna the Buffalo have a Saturday night show at the Homer Center for the Arts.

On Sunday, Richie & Bess are doing an 11am show at the WRKPRTY shared work space, and IHS is hosting a Climate Action Expo at the Ithaca High School welcome center.

And the third and final weekend of the Friends of the Library Book Sale is on Esty Street tomorrow through Tuesday.

It's First Friday Gallery Night with art openings all over Downtown Ithaca and beyond.

Plenty of live music Friday includes Erin and the Backwoods Blues Project at Hopshire and Amber Martin at the Downstairs. The Ithaca Community Orchestra is playing Ford Hall at Ithaca College tomorrow at 4. Peggy Haine and the Lowdown Alligator Jass Band at the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts is sold out, but you can still get tickets for the livestream.

But the big deal this weekend is four days of live music all over town leading up to Monday night's Dead & Company show at Barton Hall. That starts with GoGone doing happy hour at Deep Dive and Dark Hollow at the Upstairs. Lots more on Saturday and Sunday. And Uncle Toddy's has live music on the Commons all afternoon Monday.

Up at Cornell, Peter Connors is signing his Cornell ’77 book at the Cornell Store from 3-5, and there's a Chimes concert at McGraw Tower at 6.

This is the first weekend of the Friends of the Library Book Sale on Esty Street, Saturday through Monday for three straight weekends.

And it's the 50th anniversary season for the Ithaca Farmers Market, and they're having a ribbon cutting tomorrow at 10.
