It'll Be Alright In The Nineties

It's time to take another look at a random chart from the 90s on IBAITN, and on this occasion the fates have deposited us at the 20th February 1999. Who better to help us review this fine chart from the end of the decade than one of our regular correspondents and fellow 90s nostalgia nerd, Neil from Channel NEM! Join us as we explore our personal stories around the songs by R&B legends, cartoons, Canadian teen rock bands, and autotuned divas which made up the 40. Plus, Stu raps, Alex has psychic powers, and Neil recounts a story from his 18th birthday, which coincidentally was in February 1999, that we really weren't prepared for.

We're back from our short summer break and we've finally fulfilled Stu's long-held wish and done an episode on goalkeeping in the 90s. We're delighted to welcome as a guest Steve Hale - current goalkeeping coach of Crawley Town and previous coach at numerous Football League clubs, and a handy player in his day, not to mention the owner of Steve Hale Goalkeeping School & GK gloves. In our chat with Steve we discuss our favourite 'keepers from the decade, the stand-out saves, the kits (of course) and how the discipline differs now from back then. Yes, it may sound niche, but trust us, you don't want to drop the ball on this one.

Also this week, as it was recently the 2nd birthday of the pod, Stu and Alex carry out their customary gift exchange, and announce their birthday honours.
