Against all odds, IBAITN has been renewed for a third season. Alex and Stu are back with brand new content, but the same old problems...
To kick off the new year, it's Alex's turn to try and convince Stu that he was wasting his time as a CITV kid, and that he should have nailed his flag to the CBBC mast throughout the decade. To try and achieve this, he's picked the schedule from Friday 2nd December 1994, which doesn't disappoint. Join us as we discover which of the listed programmes remains shrouded in mystery, which children's TV legend went on to have their own special edition resin doll, and which legendary voice artist started out on Alex's favourite cartoon, Fantastic Max! Plus, of course, there's plenty of Get Your Own Back chat.

It can't all be fun and games when it comes to nostalgia podcasting, you know. On some occasions, your fearless hosts must take it upon themselves to investigate the darker side of their chosen subject matter. But never fear, because in keeping with the spirit of the podcast, this time on IBAITN we apply a suitably light touch to some of the more notable criminal acts of the 90s.
Tune in to find out which Wiltshire football club were decades ahead of Everton when it comes to financial irregularities, which YouTube video Alex watches on a regular basis alongside Bobby Davro's stocks accident, and which famous motorway pursuit started the lads on their journey to holding a mid-table spot in the East Central Wiltshire podcast charts!

Sometimes on IBAITN the stars really do align, and that's exactly what has happened here. We're delighted to be joined by none other than Peter Lawlor, the man responsible for one of the most recognisable rock songs of the 90s, and a UK number 1 at that - Inside by Stiltskin.
The story of the song's creation and subsequent success is really quite something, so who better to tell it than the man himself? Peter runs us through that story, along with answering all our regular interview questions about the cultural high-points of the decade.
Tune in to find out how Stiltskin eventually found their vocalist, what it's like to perform on Top of the Pops, and which other famous faces used to knock about in Primrose Hill in the late 90s.
Also this time: Our position in the regional Podcast charts! The most 90s Canadian! Small town mysteries! And lots, lots more...

IBAITN hasn't got to where it is today by jumping on any passing nostalgia bandwagons. We've always ploughed our own furrow, gone our own way and done our own thing. So it definitely isn't as a result of the success of their recent smash hit Netflix documentary series that we turn our attentions this time to the life and times of David and Victoria Beckham in the 90s. And joining us to discuss the celebrity couple of the decade is returning legend of the pod, Kate Pro! Come with us as we ruminate on how the Beckhams shaped our own lives in the fields of football, music and fashion, plus there's an in-depth examination of David's links with Chippenham!
Also this time: The glorious return of Ich Habe Ein Pony! The most 90s games console (with Dan from Odd Pod)! A near death experience on a zebra crossing! Taki Inoue goes horse racing! And lots, lots more...

We're caught between downcast and celebratory moods this time on the pod as we finally come to terms with the sad demise of Children's ITV. As he was always the CITV kid compared to the CBBC partisan Alex, Stu decides to take us all on a run through of an average CITV afternoon schedule in the mid-90s (Wednesday 12th July 1995 to be specific) in an attempt to convince Alex that CITV really was as good as, if not better than, CBBC. So tune in to find out which cartoon seemed so scary that Stu never even watched it, which theme tune crops up in Alex's brain every 48 hours and which programme both Alex and Stu consider an underrated gem.
Also this time: 90s acts of God! Cringe-inducing German lesson performances! Old receipts! Watery slapstick mishaps! The launch of yet another pod campaign! And lots, lots more...

It's the 2nd of our year-by-year look at the computer games of the 90s, and we've decided to go for 1998 this time. This is slap bang in the golden era of console gaming for Stu and Alex, so there's plenty to discuss. As usual, we each choose 3 of our favourite games from the year, as well as some honourable mentions, and listener choices of course.
Tune in to find out which game to this day, still inspires a dodgy impression for Stu and his dad, what game did Alex and his dad thoroughly enjoy for half an hour before giving up and just how expensive is the rarest Sega Saturn of all time?
