It's a Gundam!

Sometimes, all you need is the right motivation to do something amazing. In Kira’s case, that’s preventing all of his friends from dying painful deaths! Join us in watching a boy become a man, but also a man with some still pretty… well, idealistic ideals. However, he has a giant nuke robot (spoilers!) to help him achieve those goals. Also, the crew of the Archangel parts ways, and Yzak gets a promotion (to his new album, obvo).

Now that the Archangel has finally landed and everyone’s had some time to decompress, everything’s going to go swimmingly, right? Well, Maru’s getting court-martialed, Kira’s being mopey, and Yzak is smoldering, so it’s pretty much business as usual. Now, if only we could see about getting Dearka some more guards. Also, sweet Haro sound clips!

The crew of the Archangel, severely understaffed, finally makes ground in

Alaska. However, they now have to deal with the fallout of being chased

halfway across the solar system while being shot at the entire time. Also,

Dearka gets hot and heavy with some of the girls! Spicy!

In which we watch teenagers angst (Phase 29: Grieving Skies).

I don’t have much to say about this one. Both the episode of the show and

our episode about it are super dense this time around, and it gets really

real! Also, there are some gorgeous fights, regardless of which version

you’re watching. Get it!

Finally, after what feels like far too long, we’re at the good part! One of the best fight scenes of the series so far, Athrun and Kira acting like they calmly know the future, and the first of many deaths, the series takes a major turn here.

This one’s still a bit slow, but there’s a fair bit of drama, and a good

build up to some Athrangst. Flay gets dropped like she’s hot, and Los

Janitores release their first album! Also, Kira gets to reflect on the

past, and how to suck less in the future.

Previously, on Gundam SEED, we had a clip episode. Thankfully, the HD version skips that and goes right into a second clip episode! Erik Simmons, Applications Sorcery, regales us with the journey of the Archangel thus far.

Sorry for our absence the last couple of weeks, but we’re back with one of Geremy’s favorite episodes! New truths are revealed, but at the same time, new mysteries unfold! Plus, a dramatic sacrifice is right around the corner, who will live and die? Well since the show is over 15 years old, you probably know, but tune in to find out anyway!

After some amazing fighter cross-classing, Kira sees the Archangel to Orb, leading to a “surprising” plot twist! Everyone’s pretty tired, even the ZAFT crew, but that’s mostly because Yzak has been dishing sick burns all day. They head off to scheme about how to get some sweet civilian jumpsuits while the Archangel crew negotiate… for their LIVES! And also asylum, I guess.
