It's a Gundam!

It's a Gundam! continues its tour of the Universal Century OVAs with the second series, Mobile Suit Gundam: Stardust Memory. Geremy spoils the end of Mobile Suit Gundam at the beginning so... skip that if you don't want a 46 year old anime series spoiled for you. How does the first episode of Stardust compare to War in the Pocket? Who's the worst? How insensitive is diagnosing the main character's mental illness? And what surprise character has the best suit? Fashion suit, not mobile suit.

As a programming note, the subtitle fields where we mention the actual episode we're watching will have the Japanese name of the episode, since there's not a great way to account for both of them in there.

We're back to give our final thoughts on War in the Pocket. Is it as good as everyone says? Who was MVP of this brief series? And how do we rank all the mobile suits that did (or didn't) appear?

It's the final episode of War in the Pocket! Will a Quattro Bajeena cosplaying Bernie be able to defeat a Gundam with nothing but a Zaku, some duct tape and a heat hawk? Will Al become a likable and respectable human being? And does Side 6 get nuked?

One day, maybe some day soon, a week will pass in which all three of us are healthy enough to record a podcast, and we will have a glorious return to weekly episodes. Until then, enjoy our Christmas/year review special, in which we desperately try to remember what media we consumed during the year, and Geremy tries not to be grumpy because he's still sick! New episodes of its a Gundam should be on Patreon starting next week!

It's Christmas! So why is Bernie getting drunk and on a plane to Space Florida? Who's going to stop Zeon from nuking Talcot? Also, who's Talcot?

Merry Christmas! Well, if you're listening on Patreon or if you're in the world of War in the Pocket. Otherwise, Merry Christmas was a week ago! Is War in the Pocket going to give us a good episode to celebrate? Listen and find out.

We've already reached the halfway point of War in the Pocket! Also, we're all sick and grumpy. Will that cause Zach to come around on Al? Is Geremy making a bunch of belligerent political jokes a result of the election, the holidays, or being sick? And who is the Gundam home run king?

It's time for episode 2 of War in the Pocket! Does Alfred get any better? Who is Gundam's new shitty teen, and why is his team hazing him like he's a college kid? Does Chris do anything in this show? And what dumb nickname would you give a Gundam in the RX-Series? Listen and find out.

It's episode one of our OVA arc, starting with Mobile Suit Gundam: War in the Pocket. How 80s is this anime from 1989, the last year of the 80s? Who's the main character? And how good is animation that costs $100 an episode?

After a brief hiatus, we're back to talk about our final thoughts on Witch From Mercury. Was it good? How could the ending have been better? What effect will WFM have on the future of Gundam? And which characters do we realize we've been mixing of Durundal-and-Djibril style midway through the episode? Listen to find out!
