Wow. Just wow. 59 minutes of championship level football only to be ruined by the refs. Of course we have to open with that. Of course we have to bash the refs. They ruined an excellent performance by the two best NFL teams vying for the ultimate title. But, we are able to eventually put that aside and talk football, the actual Super Bowl game itself. Wow, what a game! 73 points, Chiefs coming from down 10 at half and a re-injured Patrick Mahomes puts on a gutsy performance to once again remind everyone that he and the Chiefs are a legacy in the making! Ring in the New Year with a recap of some crazy NFL and CFB action that kept us up until the clock struck midnight. The clock also struck midnight for many teams across the sports, as Ohio State and Michigan both took L's and will be watching Georgia vs the TCU Horned Frogs in the CFB Championship game. In the NFL, the Jets and the Commanders also turned in their playoff bids in disappointing fashion. The Packers somehow control their own destiny and Aaron Rodgers is as snide as ever, the Steelers are still alive, and the Jags take on the Titans for the AFC South crown.
