It’s A Yaoi Recipe!

My friend video: https://youtu.be/kLFopF_fM9I

I was watching my friend 365 801 latest videos on Buzzword Read for October. She was doing a buzzword of ‘Elements'. It really interesting, please check out her channel, she has a huge collection of BL manga, a lot is out of print and rare BL manga. I really enjoyed watching her videos,  definitely check out her channel and subscribe.

She had a print copy of a manga that I use to have back in my teen, it’s called ‘The Spiral of Sand’ by Yuma Aoi, English publication by June manga. It made me think of an idea for this episode to talk about the worst Yaoi manga. I couldn’t think of a manga until I saw that manga again.

You can buy 'The Spiral of Sand’ by Yuma Aoi on the June Website. They have a range of ebooks you can buy, Which is better than buy the print copy because June manga prints are hard to buy. https://junemanga.com

I created my top 5 BL manga artists who is very creative, nicest and well-drawn drawing styles, some with the creative edge. This is my personnel opinion and view on the artist I personally think are the best. But I am sure there are many more manga artists, all have really good drawing styles. If there is an artist who you think has a really nice art style. Please comment on my Discord or Twitter. I would love to hear your view.

You can buy the Doujinshi here: https://irodoricomics.com/naop/party-play

Website: https://irodoricomics.com  (18+)

I haven’t done a review on Irodori comic for a while. Too busy reading manga. What prompt me, was that Irodori has re-launch their website. They were doing a massive overhaul on their site and now the site is full live. I was wondering why they were very quiet.  Also, I haven’t been reading Doujinshi for a while either.

However, they have two new BL release from a new artist, DOTSUCO, called: STAY, GOOD BOY and MR. DEGENERATE. which I looking forward to reading soon, if you are interested in me doing a review on them, let me know.

I like it, it was a fun and cute read. It had a lot of charm to it. The storyline was interesting and the drawing was charming. the story is very short.

Renta Official website: https://renta.papy.co.jp/

Last weekend I have been didn’t go on social media nor on YouTube. I really wanted a detox from social media and spend most of my time reading.

I finally did Metro by HONGO Chika メトロ and I also got Yumemiru Vampire by Kotaru Kashima ゆめみるヴァンパイア

Yumemiru Vampire is so good! Fantastic drawings. It is very whimsical, delicate. I love the relationship is very sweet. The vampire is elegant. He is also a Manga otaku, which is funny. Read manga in style. Absolutely loved reading Yumemiru Vampire, highly recommended. I hope this manga does get an English translation.

During the weekend, also I noticed how much manga I brought over the last three months. I really am running out of space. I thought if there a way I can read manga online. I discovered Renta official website (Japanese) and I noticed they had a massive range of manga. I already buy BL manga on the English Renta site and have been buying BL manga there for years.

You can read this manga on Futekiya  https://read.futekiya.com/comic/60ae0effae328#vol1

This manga is an anthology, with 6 different stories.  The description very self explains the explicit and problematic content in this manga. Exploring the dark inner desire. It also has a mystery element to it, that would keep you wanted to find out more. It totally a Non-consent. It is sort of supernatural, with themes of ghost and paranormal activity.

This manga is not suitable for any reader who will find the scene uncomfortable and problematic.

I missed a podcast recording last week. I had issues with the printer. My printer wouldn’t print out properly so I had to buy a cleaning solution and try to clean it because the inks were leaking. Also, I didn’t have anything planned to review. But it gave me some time to read some new BL licensed manga released on Futekiya.

Also, listen to my review on I Know You'er Dirty by Kotaru Kashima (episode 55) https://open.spotify.com/episode/1UpgCg87d6tTx40EMl2vlo?si=r8vO41UgQjyZO3vONH3zPA&dl_branch=1

Chil Chil website

website is really cool community BL website where user write reviews, comment and archive manga they read. I start to go on it often for manga review and to discover more BL mangas. It also a has links to other online store where you can read the manga. The website is in Japanese. You have to use a web translator.

I talked about this manga before on my podcast briefly on episode 32, but I decided to read it again on Futekiya and to give a full review.

Every day, Mizuki takes the train to school. And every day, almost like clockwork, a certain man has his hands all over him. It's an unusual routine that he's almost getting used to, but what will he do when one day, the man promises him more? Is it really worth following him?

Very erotic, complex relationship story. I did find it an interesting read. There are some uncomfortable subjects matter in this story.
