A chat with Hayley Plummer who is a health and fitness coach specialising in helping women develop healthy relationships with food and their bodies while getting them to their fitness goals.
Hayley’s mission is to cut the confusion and stress out of getting the body you want and empower you with the knowledge and the mindset you need to keep those results for life.
As a self-confessed foodie who loves cake, chocolate and sticky toffee pudding, Hayley is strongly against restrictive dieting and believes in enjoying food rather than avoiding it. Combining this with a training program focused on improving your body’s strength and capabilities (rather than just flogging it to burn calories) means she can help you achieve awesome results AND enjoy the process along the way.
Jo and her husband Robin have 3 children. Her middle son has a hypoglycemic brain injury. Many symptoms are similar to autism. They say he is severely autistic; it saves explaining to people. Jo chats about their journey through, and how they found out by accident, rather than being informed, that it was hospital negligence. She talks about the mental struggle and the battle that followed to get justice for her son, Ben.

I was able to go back to the Churchill Hospital, Oxford, and speak to Carol Scott about her exceptional team in the Radiotherapy Department. It was incredible the level of service that I and many others have received there. I was keen to know how that was built and where it comes from. There were many messages in there that big businesses could learn from too.
When Christine Bruce was plunged into an accident that the police likened to driving into a wall at 70mph, she had a lot of processing and mental work to do to pull herself through. Listen in to see how she did that and what it has given her since.
Jody Raynsford. Successful writer. Crazy Ultrarunner. Creative marketer. Co-host of the phenomenon that is The Bad Boy Running Podcast. I loved recording this podcast with Jody. Digging into mental health matters and listening to his crazy stunts (in my mind!) in the running world. He has endured both mental and physical challenges and shares his insights with us here.
