you asked for maddie back on the pod and your prayers have officially been answered. she flew across the country to help me pack (california to florida counts, i googled it), and it’s noon, so naturally we’re podcasting with wine. you can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning.
we get into my mom’s friend group going full spring break in europe (#oldpeoplecanhang is now a movement and there will be merch), how maddie got her flight rebooked by being extremely polite to what she thought was an AI bot, and the landon barker hard launch. then we’re answering your questions: how we’ve stayed best friends, the guy who broke up with you over text and didn’t call for 38 hours, the friend who copies everything you do (we have thoughts on steve madden), how to know if a conversation is worth having or if you should let it fade, the craziest thing we’ve done together, and how we fight (we don’t, it’s us vs. the problem).
basically: a louboutin’s gonna be red on the bottom and a man’s gonna be a douchebag xoxo

A MAN’S GONNA BE A DOUCHEB*G FT. MADDIE

recording from annecy, france with my mom, rolled out of bed at 1pm, and we have a lot to say.
the sydney sweeney sports betting ad, a waiter who's been flirting with my mom since night one, splitting a meat stick on the way up a mountain, getting a dib from a stranger in the world's most packed cable car, the oldest lingerie store in france, a drunk haul after a bottle of wine at lunch, and why sydney sweeney can never catch a break — including when davis posted her clothing brand and got "you're disgusting" in the dms immediately. au revoir!

LEAVE SYDNEY SWEENEY ALONE

i've been binge watching the alix earle netflix show and i have genuine feelings about it, apartment hunting in nyc is exactly like dating in your 20s, i'm going back to europe in three days with my mom, and the yacht club has been closed for two weeks and i'm unraveling.

ALIX EARLE MADE ME CRY

fully PMSing, and decided there's no better time to answer all your questions and spill some things i've been holding onto. losing friends you thought were gonna be bridesmaids, how to get over your ex (you just decide to), going to bars alone (sexy and correct), how to deal with an ex at the same school (i went home with mine, so take that as you will), dos and don'ts for college, and how to think like a man and not give a fuck. also found a letter from an old boyfriend last night and cried reading it. i'm being completely normal and fine about it.

A VERY SEXY Q + A

my DMs have been flooded with your boy problems (and my friends' too), so i texted my producer at 1am with this week's thesis: settling will kill you. my boyfriend is sitting in the room while i cancel all men, so we're leaving him out of it. we get into why soulmates are bullsh*t (my mom says she could be just as happy with ten other men, and she's not wrong), love island as proof, alix earle's viral "i don't need a boyfriend to have a fulfilled life" moment, and why i'm the biggest fan of the ghost.
