So. Alana chose this 'lil bop of a musical. One that she loves with all her lil musical theatre heart. And she presented it, on a pedestal, to the cold-hearted, musical-hating Kristina. And, also, special guest, Arkansas-based theatre professional Isabel Lane. Why would she do this? As an olive branch? A device of masochism? It’s a safe bet that we will all be humming "76 Trombones" for the rest of time; but will we hum it begrudgingly? Or enthusiastically? Never mind the plot; let’s get into this. “Never mind the plot; let’s get into this” is our new catchphrase.
