On June 2, 2007, Kelsey Smith went to the Target in Overland Park, Kansas, to buy her boyfriend an anniversary present. She was abducted and later found dead, all because a man noticed her shopping and said she had nice legs. She was truly in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Brett and Vashti Seacat seemed like a perfect couple, but on April 30, 2011, the Seacat home went up in flames. Brett escaped with their two young sons, but Vashti was found dead in the master bedroom. During the investigation, it was discovered that Vashti had actually been shot, and her husband said she had killed herself. However, the investigation was leading in another direction. 

Did Vashti commit suicide or did Brett kill her?

On December 6, 2014, Jessica Chambers and her car were set on fire. Jessica died in the early morning of December 7, due to 93% of her body being badly burned. Not too long after, the police focused their investigation on Quentin Tellis, a friend of Jessica's. All evidence seemed to point to Quentin, despite her saying Eric/Derek did this to her.

On Tuesday, February 9, 2008, nine year old Shannon Matthews disappeared from school. Twenty four days later, she was found alive at her "uncle" Michael Donovan's home. On February 10, 2004, a 911 call came into the Alamonte Springs, FL police. The call was from Elaine Bouck, she said she hadn't heard from her boyfriend, Steve Schulhoff all day. 

When the police walked into the apartment that Steve shared with his 16 year old daughter, Courtney, they found a grizzly scene. Steve was dead, and Courtney and her boyfriend Michael Morin were on the run. 

What really happened to Steve? Was it Courtney, Michael or both of them?

On January 16, 1997, Scott Falater was arrested after killing his wife Yarmila. A neighbor had called 911 to report that he saw the whole incident. Scott claimed he didn't remember anything, but never denied it. 

In 1999, Scott went on trial, and his defense was that he killed Yarmila, but he didn't remember it because he had a history of sleepwalking.

On April 26, 2007, a 911 call came into the Scott County (Kentucky) police. The caller, Jodi Lucas, said that Jim and Vivian Gray were dead inside their home. They had both been shot. The police focused their investigation on the couple's son Anthony Gray. Anthony showed no emotion, and later confessed. However, the police made many mistakes and created false evidence. Anthony has been tried twice, and is currently in jail awaiting his third trial. Did Anthony kill his parents? Did the police focus too much on Anthony? Who really killed the Gray's?
