oh boy. this isn't the easiest energy... the card representing the dark night of the soul. yikes.

let's stay with it though... what will serve you best when there is just a LOT of air energy around? stirring up emotions, confusing your sight, ungrounding you, keeping you tossing and turning.

we prioritize our peace... what practices/places/people help you settle and calm? keep them handy!

we are often facing endings here... addictive behavior can bubble up... and mostly, we become VERY aware of the ways our own thoughts/spells/stories/judgements can wound us.

the call is coming from inside the house so to speak.

I share some techniques to manage this and remind us all that July was always going to challenge our mental body and no matter how long the night, the sun will rise again. And with it, a great sense of our power to transform and transcend. I promise, this too, is happening for you.

the king of wands is the king who would be a man... so much power and yet... always looking wistfully at the horizon.

so the negotiation this week will between your desire for freedom + expression and your needs regarding responsibilities + the realm. how comfortable are you with power? with joy? with the need to evolve?

you may be tempted to damn the torpedos and come what may! and the king asks you to hold one moment and just consider that kamikaze leap towards freedom with the wiser part of you. could I be free and also pack a lunch?

this energy is hilarious and FULL BODIED and speaks to a lot of joy and carpe diem... VERY summer fling-ish.

do what you will with it... the king reminds you that you have the choice to get much wider with your joy... and yet this siren call might just be too damn tempting to notice much else at all. ahhh life!

this card is called "on the horns of a dilemma"... wow, that's an uncomfortable place to be and thankfully, we can't stay here...

doubling down on the fact that our mental body is going to be struggling this month, this card comes to show us the ways we cause ourselves harm by trying to figure out what is not ripe to understand. we want to fix it, plan a way through it, resolve it and the solution keeps evading us... its really uncomfortable. no doubt.

recall the sacred mystery of July and that our mind can't quite fathom what we are working out this month. also recall that the most wonderful things in your life were rarely the things you saw coming. this card is a reminder to get out of your head and put your energy into this beautiful sensual world.

the solution will arrive. what is meant to come through, won't lose its way. take your hands off the wheel and whatever else you do, stop blaming yourself for being uncomfortable in a moment that s deeply uncomfortable. the frame is crumbling, and I assure you, you will be happy for the new view.

ever wonder why institutions of power tell you all about how scary the devil is? because the devil wants you FREE. they are a great revolutionary. they get how precious you are and they won't let you waste your energy on unconscious attachments.

we are ALL bound, the devil is like cool cool- but make sure you are choosing with your eyes and heart wide open.

looks to the places you are exhausted/fatigued/hopeless... the devil is showing you where you devotion is off or your story is too small.

on the other side of a dance with the devil is more energy, more light and more laughter. cheers to that.
