he reminds us of the need for curiosity. the need to speak truth but also, to listen for truth.

the gift of his presence is a more deeper understanding of what might be possible. his powers of discrimination, of channeling, of communication and of deconstruction are simply insane man.

he is inspiring and clarifying and compassionate. he seeks to find the common good. and knows that choosing the right words can make all the difference.

this week, look for his presence within you and in the people around you.

he is the master of the mental body. he teaches us much about the power of our thoughts, our perspectives and our language to change reality and usher in profound change.

the sun is the card of illumination, joy, light and confidence... so much beauty and life-giving energy. and also the possibility of TOO much heat.

notice the places you are warmed and the places you yearn for warmth... the places that allow you to relax open and the ones that are just too much and your body tenses.

and MOST importantly, watch how you speak to yourself about your reactions... where are you judging your reaction instead of honoring it's intelligence?

the sweet voice of "do you see me?" came through and the tender warmth that comes when heart recognizes heart. no matter how wild the world, we will always find warmth with each other. especially when we are willing to look.

so not easy, not pain free... but very complete.

the king of pentacles follows this with a two sided message:

one, a call forward to engage with your true work. whatever you are master of, own it and stop hesitating to step into your full power and authority around it and in your life.

two, watch out for the ways materiality can lull you into complacency, inertia or turning a blind eye.

this is a double dose of earth energy... so a reminder that when the human world fails us, the earth remains AND that being rich with material resources can be its own seductive limitation.

so touch earth this week. notice where you are shying away from fully stepping into your own authority. and re-engage with the work you are here to do.

no more illusions. only the work to be done.

ok boo. ten of swords. it doesn't get any deader.

ten of swords is when the energy moves out of the dark night of the nine of swords and just finds completion. it might have been crazy painful, but it's done now.

the eight year has had us in this funny energy of wash and repeat... going round and round feeling like we've done this before, we've been here before, why is this still happening?

and the justice and the sun are with us in November overall, but starting the month with the ten of swords is like the universe saying... " and, scene!"

the nightmare is over, the monster is dead and we see sun on the horizon.

look to the east, look to the life ahead and be sure you are ready for the clarity and illumination to come as the new day is born.

the ten of swords might be a violent, almost obscene image, but it's hyperbole is the point. this is not a place we return from. nothing survives the tenth sword and that is it's own sweet relief, that is it's own liberation.

the first light of dawn awaits.
