The rumors are true. Alex is the worst/most inconsistent podcaster the world has ever seen. Yet, that doesn't stop him from coming back from a 4 week hiatus to talk about his silly little life. Touching on the good and the bad, Alex recaps the month of May and talks about his tattoo adventures, his birthday bonanza, why he recently cried himself to sleep and many other stupid things! Buckle in because this ep is a rollercoaster and it promises to be a bumpy ride.
After getting knocked out by the 2nd vax this weekend, Alex boots and rallies and keeps the alphabet series alive by focusing on a series of people, places, and things that start with the letter F. Despite initially struggling to come up with those words, he finally settles on a few and seemingly goes off for an hour. Sit back, relax, and chomp down on some fudge as you listen to him talk about why he loves Faye Webster so much yet is anxious to attend her concert in the fall, why he is so passionate about farmer's markets and believes they are essential for all cities, why he fucking hates fish, why he has a desire to visit France once travel restrictions ease up, why his fashion sense has evolved over the years, and why he feels like his friendliness can sometimes backfire on him. FUN FUN FUN!
The alphabet series is back and we're live from Prospect Park baby !!!!!!! Sticking true to his word, Alex decides to take advantage of the beautiful day in Brooklyn and heads out to the park to catch some rays and rant about everything that has to do with the letter E. Get yourself an espresso and settle in as you listen to him talk about why he constantly dreams about England and how his life might have been different had he actually grown up there, why he's frustrated with the concept of an annual Earth Day, why Ellie Goulding is the OG pop star, why ESPN led him to believe he could be an amazing sports commentator, and why he wishes he was better at showing enthusiasm when things go well for him. EXCITING right??? ENJOY!!!!!!!
Alex is the world's worst podcaster when it comes to consistently releasing episodes, but who cares because he's back baby! After a month long hiatus, Alex shakes off the rust and takes the listeners on a journey of all the things that have been happening in his life recently and some of the upcoming things that he's looking forward to. This includes the decision to accept his grad school offer, his start with therapy, why he spent $500 to fix his leg injuries, and so many other amazing topics that are one of a kind. This podcast is truly the best podcast in the world and you'll be missing out if you don't listen!!!!! JK we know that's not true, but let's channel positive thoughts people!!!! (that's what my therapist told me)
The big apple baby is back in town and boy is he better than ever! After nearly 12 months of living at home in South Carolina, Alex has returned to the promised land to singlehandedly save New York from becoming a dead city. Although Deblasio failed to coordinate a ticker tape parade in honor of Alex's return, things have still gone swimmingly for him. Sit back and relax as Alex takes you through his journey over the last 5 days which has consisted of walking around his new neighborhood for 25 hours a day, decorating his room to perfection and questioning if he should even go to grad school or not.
Good morning to Dua Lipa and Dua Lipa only! Yep you guessed it, it's the D-words episode and oh boy is this one a roller coaster. Settle in as you listen to Alex talk about why depop has become his favorite way to shop for new outfits and get rid of old clothing, why his spring break trip to Denpasar changed his perspective on traveling, why a recent twitch stream made him rethink the role of drugs and how they can help with depression, why he doesn't want his death to occur while sleeping, why he somewhat believes in destiny (but not really), and why he wants to feel more deserving of his achievements. Sounds DELICIOUS right??
Charli XCX once said "I want anthems, late nights, my friends, New York." Don't we allI??????? If you answered no, you're dead to me. Anyways, it's the C-word episode babyyyyyyy. As I'm typing out this description I realized I fucked up and should've talked about things like coachella instead of boring old climate change, but sometimes we can't have it all! Make yourself at home and whip up a chai tea latte as you listen to Alex talk about why he is so infatuated with Charli XCX, why he wants to murder Bill Gates for his recent comments on climate change, why he thinks the coronavirus pandemic has exposed all the bad things about himself, why he almost shit himself on the plane back from Cairns, and why he so desperately wants to overcome his commitment issues. xoxoxox it's charli, baby!
Good morning to the letter B and the letter B ONLY!!!!!!!! Back on the alphabet train, Alex uses this ep to take a trip to B-town to talk about some of his favorite things, places, and words that start with the letter B. Kick back and relax as Alex talks about why he struggles to read books these days, why he's so obsessed with biking, why he thinks Brooklyn is the S-tier borough in NYC, why he wishes he could go back to Beijing, and why he thinks incorporating balance into your daily life is so damn important!!!!!!! THXBITCHES!
WHATS UP YOUTUBE!!!!!!!!! Sadly it's not your boy Matty Smokes, it's just me Alex, but I'm back with the first episode of a new silly little series where we're going to take a journey down memory lane (aka the alphabet). I suck at recording and coming up with things to talk about so hopefully this project will keep me on a consistent schedule. This ep is dedicated to the letter A and all the amazing words that start with her. I'm sure I could've thought of some better words but who cares baby! Enjoy as I talk about why I sometimes hate my name, why our agricultural systems are a disaster, why I almost died to an alligator, why I miss Australia so much, and why I need to hold myself accountable !!!!!!! <3
RIP SOPHIE. A star of our generation. I was absolutely gutted to hear the news this morning so I decided to just talk through it along with some other things that have been on my mind recently. This pod is kind of a joke at this point so I'm not gonna write a long caption like I normally would. Stay safe loves xoxoxo
